My holiday wasn't what I expected it to be. Christmas didn't feel so much like Christmas. Although I spent it with friends who I care a lot for, it just isn't the same when its not with your family. I miss my family a lot and I miss those years that I spent Christmas with them in LA because those truly were the times that I felt really warm and happy. I use to love Christmas and the days waiting in anticipation for the trip to LA or the morning that all the kids were able to open presents. This Christmas was a very disappointing Christmas for me and I think if I didn't have my friends to spend part of it with, it would have been the lousiest Christmas ever. So despite my upsetting mood, I am very thankful to have such great friends. Hopefully I can spend next Christmas with my family far away from here.
